It is intensely annoying to the point it stops me wanting to play the online game altogether. Why does EA script these games? It’s blindingly obvious when you are better than your opponent but for no logical reason, your defenders decide to run along side the striker without challenging, or suddenly become made of mist, or decide to fall over or better still, decide to run into each other leaving the otherwise useless striker to run through on goal and shoot straight at your keeper, who of course, lets the ball wash over him into the net, even from a ridiculous angle. It’s insane.

Games utterly rigged to end in a draw or defeat. Players who pass crisply one game then in the next game, consistently under hit passes or direct simple short passes straight to the opposition. As for strikers, they suddenly wade through fudge, can’t control a simple pass and can’t hit a cow’s backside with a banjo even with the controlled finish. It’s an absolute farce and I do not understand whey EA persist with this. It drives everyone mad.

Just let players play each other based on their own skills. That is the game. The challenge. EA’s scripts completely ruin it for everyone. Sometimes the scripts work in your favous but it’s still obvious when it is happening and I take zero enjoyment from winning when the odds are suddenly stacked in my favour. EA – STOP IT! IT’S RUINING WHAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE A GOOD GAME. I may have to return to PES if this continues.
